Summary
The aim of the study is to indicate solutions for a dedicated logistic and transport system that facilitates carriage of goods in the automotive industry. Innovative solutions are the responsibility of the authorities of the region. The need for implementing them could be included in the Transport Development Strategy of the Voivodship, with account taken of their compatibility with the concept of Spatial Development of the Country and the Na-tional Strategy for Regional Development. Undertaking dedicated infrastructural and or-ganizational ventures in the region’s leading industry can contribute to the economic de-velopment of the region, but this will depend on the organizational capacities and the funding available. At the outset, it is worth investigating / researching whether, in the opin-ion of regional entrepreneurs, the proposed solutions are desirable. The article shows the results of such research, confirming the hypothesis that the Silesia’s automotive industry leaders expect dedicated solutions in the regional logistic and transport network.
