Summary
The paper contains the authors’ reflections concerning CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in business. The need to formulate new rules of the game in the contemporary economy is considered with reference to economics, the humanities, and the authors’ own knowledge and professional experience. In the face of the recent economic and social crises, moral and ethical scandals as well as a tendency to strive for absolute power in business (oftentimes without respect for the law), the need has become apparent for model solutions which would preserve social responsibility through general economic optimization.
