Summary
Contemporary company is developing in a turbulent environment. The path of this development is cutting by many crises. One from the most popular models of development is the Greiner’s model. It assumes the evolutionary steps of company growth, interrupted by successive crises. With this model is connected a theoretical conception of the “pyramid of growth”. These theoretical concepts have been confronted with practical experiences of the Omida group. The analysis has showed a significant degree of convergence of theoretical models with this case study.
